History
The M36 Jackson, introduced in 1944, was one of the U.S. Army’s most effective tank destroyers of World War II. Armed with a 90mm gun, it was designed specifically to counter the heavy German tanks, such as the Panther and Tiger. Unlike traditional tanks, the M36 was part of the U.S. tank destroyer doctrine, prioritizing mobility and firepower to ambush and destroy enemy armor. It saw extensive service in Europe during the late stages of the war, including the Battle of the Bulge, and later continued to serve in conflicts such as the Korean War. The Jackson remains a symbol of American adaptability and armored might in WWII.
SAFETY NOTE: Choking hazard, small pieces, recommended for children at least 6 years or older. Adult supervision is recommended during playtime.
